Elizabeth Alice Batt September 29, 1924 - October 21, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) BATT, Elizabeth Alice - 81, Timberlea, passed away peacefully October 21, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Head Bay D'Espoir, NL, she was the daughter of the late John Robert and Effie (Strickland) Sutton. She was a long-time member of The Eastern Star. Elizabeth was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, James H. Batt; daughter, Carolyn (Glenn) Stoddard; sons, Roland James (Cindy), David Douglas (Karen), Eric Charles (Rose); grandchildren, Michael, Phillip, Steven, Stephanie, James, and great-granchild, Brooke. Arrangements entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Timberlea, Rev. Kathleen Knott and Rev. Judie Lafford officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
