Elizabeth A. Smithof BinghamtonElizabeth A. Smith, 84, died at River Mede Manor Nursing Center on Saturday, February 15, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest M. Smith; son, Leo; and her daughter, Joan Messier. She is survived by four sons, Ernest J. Smith, Richard M. Smith, Donald W. Smith, and William G. Smith; one daughter, Janice E. Mazzaferro; also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and special friends, Carol and Paul Ayers.Memorial services will be held at the McDevitt Bros. Funeral Home, 88-90 Front St., Binghamton, on Saturday, March 1, 2003, at 11 a.m. with Rev. John R. Martinichio, officiating.
