Obituary of Elizabeth-A. Miller


HUDSON -- Elizabeth "Lisa" A. Miller, 49, died July 28, 2008, at her residence. She was born in Kingston, N.Y., Nov. 25, 1958, to William Lawrence and the late Elizabeth (Moss) Lawrence. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Londonderry Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and faithful friend. She spent much of her life devoting her time to children and was the former children's librarian for the town of Hudson. She also was a kindergarten teacher for Kinderworld. In addition to her father of Kingston, N.Y., family includes husband Joseph Miller of Hudson; son Christopher Miller and daughter Larissa Miller, both of Hudson; sisters Tracey Kelly of Kingston, N.Y. and Laurie Lawrence of Jupiter, Fla.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A graveside service is Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Hills Farm Cemetery, Hudson, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Londonderry Presbyterian Church, 126 Pillsbury Road, Londonderry.
