ANDERSON, Elizabeth "Betty" A., of Plant City, FL was promoted to glory Thursday, November 8, 2013 due to heart failure. She was born January 15, 1933 in Fond du Lac, WI, the youngest of 10 children, to Earl and Mabel (Camp) Chapin. She was a Major with the Salvation Army, principal of Adeline De Castro School of the Blind in Panama City, Panama, Daughter of the American Revolution, and past member of the Kansas City Kiwanis Club. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, of 57 years, Lester Anderson, sons: Stephen Anderson (Debra) of Gillette, WO and Mark Anderson (Susan) of Southfield, MI, daughter: Christine Morales (Adam) of Glendale, AZ, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation is 9-10am with funeral services at 10:00 am on Monday, November 11, 2013, both at the Salvation Army Chapel, 2620 Kathleen Rd., Lakeland, FL 33810.
