Obituary of Eleanore D. Beaudoin


LEOMINSTER -- Eleanore D. (Cyr) Beaudoin, 89, of 48 Grove Ave., died Sunday, Oct. 26, in HealthAlliance The Highlands, Fitchburg. She was born on Oct. 17, 1914, in Fitchburg, the daughter of Alfred and Laura (Gallant) Cyr. Mrs. Beaudoin worked at the Leominster Public Library for 30 years before her retirement. She was an avid reader. Mrs. Beaudoin was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church. She leaves two daughters, Marcelyn E. Petricca of Leominster and Ellen B. Whitmore of Brookline; two sisters, Norma Fischer of Leominster and Wanda Buell of Seabrook, N.H.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, Frederick M. Beaudoin, Sr., died in 1989. Her son, Frederick M. Beaudoin Jr., died in 1995. BEAUDOIN -- On Oct. 26, Eleanore D. (Cyr) Beaudoin, 89, of Leominster. The funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 31, from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leominster Public Library, 25 West St., Leominster, MA 01453; or may be left at the funeral home.
