Obituary of Eleanor Smith


SMITH, Eleanor J. (Neice) 84 years. April 12, 2003. Late of the Sun Parlor Home for Senior Citizens, Leamington, formerly of Harrow. Predeceased by her husband Gerald (1997). Loving mother of Richard Smith and Louise Hannon, Lorne and Debbie Smith, Louise Shepley and Jack Wayvon, Gerald (Gee) Smith, Michael and the late Wendy Smith (2000). Dear grandmother of Greg Smith, Michelle and Rob Downes, Laura and Jane Shepley, Hope Smith. Dear great grandmother of Kaylee and Courtney Downes. Dear sister of Catherine Keith. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Lily Neice, sisters Estella and husband Donald Ciphery, Edna and husband Elmer Blair. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Mom was a 1942 "Grace Grad." R.N., was active in the Harrow community, very active in her church at St. Andrew's, while working along side our dad in the family operation of Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home and Ambulance Service. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home, 197 King Street W., Harrow. Visiting Sunday 7-9 p.m. Monday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Eleanor's Life will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Harrow, with Rev. Brian Wearne officiating. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Society, St. Andrew's Church, or the charity of your choice.
