LACONIA ; Eleanor Mae Walker, 79, of 14 Lyford St., died at the St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center on Tuesday, June 17, 2008.Miss Walker was born June 22, 1928, in Laconia, the daughter of Bertram G. and Marjorie M. (Dame) Walker. She was a lifelong resident of Laconia.Miss Walker is survived by two brothers, Howard Walker and Earle Walker, both of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces.In addition to her parents, Miss Walker was predeceased by two brothers, Victor Walker Sr. in 1985 and Gordon D. Walker in 2006; and by her three sisters, Carol Montambeault in 2004, Evelyn Swain in 2004 and Dorothy Bragg in 1991.Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home. The Rev. Hays Junkin, priest-in-charge at Saint James Episcopal Church, will officiate.
