Eleanor M. Johnson, 86, Sarasota, died Dec. 19, 2004. She was born March 18, 1918, in Bridgeport, Conn., and came to Sarasota in 1957 from Norwalk, Conn. She retired from the Sarasota School Board and was a member of Sarasota County Retired Educators Association. Survivors include four nieces; three nephews; two grandnephews; and five grandnieces.
