MURRAY (nee Johnson), Eleanor Ida 2008-04-04 Born July 1, 1929 in Enderby , British Columbia, died suddenly on March 31, 2008 in Kelowna, British Columbia. Eleanor moved to Fort William in 1951, where Calum and her spent many happy years in the Walsh Street area. The children of this area all knew her as Aunty Eleanor and she delighted in helping out at their birthday parties and other celebrations. She was pre-decreased by her loving husband Calum, in 1988 and shortly after retired to Kelowna to be closer to her siblings and Okanagan roots. Eleanor will be greatly missed by her surviving brothers Stanley (Hazel) of Courtenay and Ernie of Red Deer, sisters-in-law, Joyce Johnson of Victoria, Mary Johnson of Kelowna, Anna Crane of Thunder Bay, her brother-in-law Norman Jones of Thunder Bay, and all of her nieces and nephews. At Eleanor‘s request cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
