COX, Eleanor Caroline (nee Hanson) Peacefully on Thursday, June 16, 2011, age 75 years after a courageous battle with cancer, with her children by her side. Beloved wife of the late Ken Cox (former ADM, Personnel, Customs & Excise). Loving mother of Jo-Ann Wilson (Bart Van Bussel), Linda Gregory (Bruce Barnes), Ronald Cox (Luiza Karpulyte), John Cox (Denyse Desormeaux), Eleanor Ashford (Grant Fraser), Donna Saikaley (John) and Michael Cox. Cherished "Gram" of Crystal; Michael; Nicholas; Alexandra; Sarah, Justin; Kayla, Rebecca; and great-grandmother of Lily. Predeceased by her sister June Poulin. Eleanor enjoyed playing golf, gardening and especially spending time with her family and friends. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave, at Richmond Road, Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John The Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Baseline Road, Nepean, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 1 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Friends of Hospice and Ontario Medical Supply (OMS).
