Elder-Phillip Lee, spouse of Emma-Williams Lee, father of Willie Anthony, Stephanie, Vera, Frances, Mary Lee, Ethel, Shirley, Emma, Curtis, Roosevelt and Eddie, died on September 16, 2008.
Elder Phillip Lee MIDWAY- Elder Phillip Lee, affectionately known as "Dubie," "Daddy Lee" or "Papa Lee," 92, of Midway, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, in Midway. Lee was a retired laborer for Ro Mac Lumber Supply, and a self-employed Pick-up and Deliveryman for Randolph Cleaners. The service will be at 1 p.m. EDT Saturday, Sept.27, at Watson Temple Church of God in Christ in Tallahassee, with burial at St. John Cemetery in Midway. The visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. EDT Friday, Sept. 26, at Midway Church of God in Christ, of which Lee was a member. Lee was also pastor of Havana Mission, retiring in 1999. Survivors include his wife, Emma Williams Lee; three sons, Eddie Lee (Vanessa), Roosevelt Bradwell (Ollie) and Curtis Lee (Cheryl); seven daughters, Emma Lee, Shirley Stokes, Ethel Lee-Rosier, Mary Lee Green (Bernard), Frances Lee, Vera Valard (George) and Stephanie Blount (Howard); 29 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.His son, Willie Anthony "Bubba" Lee, preceded Lee in death.
