HENDRIKS, Elaine Mary January 7, 1951 - June 21, 2016It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Elaine Mary Hendriks (Kostyshin) - beloved mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Elaine was one of seven children born to Lea and Anthony Kostyshin of Alberta. Elaine married, had and raised her children, Rebecca and Jeffrey in Surrey, BC. Elaine had a long working career at BC Hydro, where she made many friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cruising and other travelling, beading and reading. She had a great fondness for collecting trinkets (dust collectors) and "antiquing". Elaine leaves behind her former husband, with whom she was very close, Paul (Vivian); her children Becky (Dave) and Jeff (Natalie); grandchildren Carson and Avery. She will be missed by her siblings Allan (Elaine), Danny, Lorne, Cecil, Loretta and Brian and many loved nieces and nephews. Elaine also leaves behind a larger extended family including the Hendriks family and many friends.
