The private funeral services for Elaine M. Peterson, 95, of Rutland, who died Oct. 1, 2013, at her residence, was held Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Aldous Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Houle, pastor of St. Peter Church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. John M. Longworth, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Bearers were Gordon DeLong and Dennis DeLong. Arrangements were by the Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main St., Rutland.
