Funeral service for Elaine L. Johnson, 84, Lucerne Drive, DeBary, who died Feb. 15, 2008, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the First Baptist Church of Orange City. Inurnment will be at a later date at Deltona Memorial Gardens. The family will receive from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Webster Groves, Mo., and moved to central Florida in 1957 from Des Moines, Iowa. She a member of the First Baptist Church of Orange City. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ted; son, Ronald Chipman, Lakeland; daughter, Keri Lynn Janssen, Oviedo; brother, Charles Field, San Clemente, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to the First Baptist Church of Orange City or to Florida Hospital Hospice Care.
