Loved mother and mother-in-law of Sharyn and Steven Walker, Betty and Clive Fidler, Ruth and Malcolm Hall, Audrey and John Prosser, Elaine and Craig Atkins, Kathleen and Tony Burgess. Proud Nan of all her precious grandchildren John, Jason (dec.), Adam, Hollie, Jonas, Jacinta, Jesse, Joshua, Bradley, Lauree, Katelyn, Alexander and great grandmother to Jaida; Blaze, Jack and Charlie; Ava, Max and Bailey; and Tahlia. There is no night without a dawning, no winter without a spring, and beyond deaths dark horizon our hearts once more will sing. For those who leave us for a while have only gone away, out of a restless care worn world, into a brighter day. My wife, our mother, our Nan, our best friend. You have given us life, love, guidance, hope and the strength to go on without you. To my very special and so precious Elaine. Thank you so much for sharing your life with me. Thank you for being such a caring, loving wife and mother. A proud mother and nan. Indeed I have been blessed. We shared so much, with our six wonderful girls, and grandchildren. Special times, never to be forgotten. You fought so hard to stay with us. Alas it was not to be. ''It''s time to say good-bye.'' RIP my special and wonderful wife Elaine. - Your loving husband Jock. PS ''We never forgot the roses.'' Life is a journey of sweetness and sorrow Of yesterday''s memories and hopes for tomorrow, Of pathways we choose and detours we face. With patience and humour, Courage and grace. Of joys that we''ve shared and of people we''ve met, who have touched us in ways we will never forget. - All our love Sharyn, Steven, Adam, Kerrin, Bailey, Ava, Hollie, Chris and Max. Beyond the gate, your loved one finds happiness and rest, and there is comfort in the thought that a loving God knows best. Some people make a difference just by being who they are. Their inner light shines bright and touches lives both near and far and still forever plays a part in the smiles, the priceless moments, that are treasured in the heart. You were our rock MUM, love you and we will miss you heaps. - Betty and Clive, John and Tammy, Blaze, Jack and Charlie, Jason (dec.) and his daughter Jaida. There is an unbroken thread that is woven from love and it keeps families always together. For nothing is real as the moments we have shared. They live on in our memories forever. Theres an open gate at the end of the road, through which each must go alone and their inner light we cannot see. But our father claims his own. - Love Ruth, Malcolm, Jonas, Jacinta, Jesse and Kirsty. One amazing lady, many memories we hold dear. We walked many journeys together, and like all roads, there were a few bumps along the way. But there was always your love and guidance to get us through. As we held your hand and kissed you goodbye, it broke our hearts to see you fight so hard to stay. Sleep well little lady, your job is done. Forever loved. - Audrey, John and Katelyn xxx. Nan, you have been a guiding light that has shone brightly in my life from the very beginning. I will always cherish memories of the time we spent together, particularly on the swings. I love you and you will be forever missed. "Rocking, rolling, riding out along the bay. All bound for Mornington, many miles away." - Kate. In tears we watched you sinking, and watched you pass away. Our hearts were almost broken, we wanted you to stay. But when we saw you sleeping, so peaceful, free from pain, how could we wish you back with us, to suffer that again. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home. If roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my mother''s arms and tell her they''re from me. - Loved Mum, Nan and Great Nan to Elaine, Craig, Josh, Brad, Lauree, Tash and Tahlia. Loved always. How can we thank you. Six little mouths you were always there to feed Six little noses to look after when we sneezed Six terrible teenagers all struggling to grow Are now six little women with loving husbands and children of their own We sit in admiration Mum/Nan for you never complained. Always there for us all, time and time again - Love always your devoted family Kathleen, Tony, and Alex Burgess.
