Elaine Geraldine Grenoble Dudley, 82, died peacefully in her home Feb. 4, 2009. She was born Dec. 15, 1926, in Jersey Shore, Pa., to Maurice and Hazel Grenoble, who preceded her in death. On June 28, 1952, she married Derrial P. Dudley, who survives. Mrs. Dudley had been a registered nurse and was a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. She was a 1944 graduate of Jersey Shore High School and a graduate of the Westchester School of Nursing. She was also a dedicated wife and mother. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include a son, Heath (Adrina), of Mary Esther; a daughter, Tania (Marty) Cronin, of Lima, Ohio; two granddaughters, Megan Dudley and Eleanor Cronin; one grandson, Matthew Cronin; and a step-grandson, Ian Jeunelot. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dudley; a sister, Jean Hauprich; and a brother, Maurice Grenoble. Services will be at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, on Monday at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
