RAYMONDEileen, 87 of Newton, formerly of Passaic died Thursday at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover.Born in Wallington she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine Fitzgerald McCleerey. A Homemaker, Mrs Raymond lived most of her life in Passaic before moving to Newton five years ago. Her husband John Raymond died in 1994.She is survived by five children, John Raymond and his wife Ruth of Valerico, FL; Arlene Raymond of Newton; Steven Raymond and his wife Kathy of Hopatcong; Robin Chuprevich of Clifton and Ruth Lubas of Newton. Also surviving are a sister Virginia McCleerey of Pompton Plains and eight granddaughters, Christina, Valerie and Tara Chuprevich; Keri and Kelly Bilas: Megan and Amanda Raymond and Rhiannon Lubas.Funeral services begin 7:45 AM Wednesday at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Halstead St Newton at 8:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home.
