MILLER Eileen J.(O"Sullivan) Miller passed into Eternal Life on Tuesday, September 14, 2004, at her home, in Murrell"s Inlet, South Carolina. She passed, in her husband"s arms, four days before they were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. She was born in Bridgeport on August 13, 1931 to Daniel F. O"Sullivan and Teresa V. (Bannon) O"Sullivan. She attended Blessed Sacrament School before moving with her family to Milford. She attended Milford High School and graduated in 1948. She graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1951. She worked at Milford Hospital until moving to Washington, D.C., to further her pediatric nursing studies. It was there that she met her husband, Gerald W. Miller. They were married in St. Martin"s R.C. Church, in that city, on September 18, 1954. She and her husband lived in Arlington, Va. for 10 years and Vienna, Va. for 25 years before retiring to South Carolina more than 10 years ago. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Daniel E. Miller (Jennie), of Fredericksburg, Va. and Robert J. Miller, of Conway, S.C. and one daughter, Marianne Fridley Carney (Tom). She was the loving grandmother of Ashley and Jessica Miller and of Matthew and Samantha Fridley. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Theresa (Frank) Kennedy and Mrs. Geraldine Curley, both of Stratford; three brothers, Edward J. O"Sullivan (Gail), of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Robert E. O"Sullivan (Regina), of Trumbull and Daniel E. O"Sullivan (Susan), of Stratford; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Mary K. McGovern, of Milford and a brother, J. James O"Sullivan, of Winter Haven, Fla. She will be truly missed by her many friends and family members who have been witness to her kind and loving ways. Goldfinch Funeral Home, of Murrell"s Inlet, S.C., is in charge of funeral arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Michael"s R.C. Church, in Murrell"s Inlet, S.C., on Saturday, September 18, 2004. Burial will be private.
