Eileen Clark 1936 - 2011 SPRINGFIELD - Eileen Clark of Springfield, died peacefully at home on December 19, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Boston 75 years ago and has lived in Springfield th past 58 years. She started her business career at Mass Mutual and later had several jobs in retailing including Albert Steiger Inc. where she initiated a personal shopper program personally calling on women in retirement homes to do their clothes shopping for them. For the past 22 years she has worked in the Springfield school system most recently as Attendance Manager at Forest Park Middle School. She volunteered many years for Rays of Hope and for over 20 years was a member of the Ronald McDonald House corps of volunteers. Eileen was truly a people-person. Be with her for a short time and you were friends forever. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She is survived by Jack, her loving husband of 55 years and her loving sons, Jay of DeLand, FL, Russ and his wife Linda of East Longmeadow and Warren of Longwood, Fl.
