Jacksonville - Private funeral services for Eileen Agnes Turner, 94, were held Friday, August 24, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Forestlawn Gardens Mausoleum in Anniston with Father James Macey officiating, K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center directing services. Mrs. Turner died Monday, August 20, 2012, at Piedmont Health Care. She is survived by her son, Wayne Turner and his wife, Diane, of Jacksonville; a grandchild, Michael Turner and his wife, Lariza; two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Derek; a sister, Kaye, of Queensland, Australia and a former daughter-in-law, Nancy Turner. Mrs. Turner met her husband when he served in the military in Australia. She was a resident of New Jersey before moving to Jacksonville 23 years ago. She was a homemaker, but was happiest in her flower garden. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Turner; a son, Bruce Turner, of Montgomery; her parents, James and Ellen Anderson; three brothers, Gordon, Thomas and Frank; three sisters, Hilda, Ellen and Ann.
