BROWN, Effie Mable (nee Cuthbertson) May 31, 1919 February 2, 2007 On Friday, February 2, 2007 Effie Mabel Brown passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years. She is lovingly remembered by sons, Michael (Nina), Christopher (Lise) and Stephen (Trevor); five grandchildren, Matthew (Janet), Andrea (Nick), Conrad, Lauren and Carmen: two greatgrandchildren, Morgan and Riley; and her brother Clifford. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Anderson Brown and two brothers, William and James. The family thanks Cindy Morris, Rekha Hunjan and the staff of the Hardisty Nursing Home for the kind care they provided to Effie. The care provided by the staff of the University Hospital is also appreciated by the family. A memorial service celebrating Effie's life will held on Saturday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 4C Raven Drive, Sherwood Park, Alberta with the Rev. Dr. Susan Storey officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Thomas Memorial Fund or the charity of one's choice.
