Edward “Eddie” Williams COHOES – Edward “Eddie” Williams, 40, of Division St. died suddenly Wednesday evening at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Troy , May 13, 1973, he was the son of Edward and Linda Williams of Troy . Eddie was a volunteer fireman with the Waterford Fire Department for many years. Survivors in addition to his parents include his fiancé Lynnann Ricci, children Edward Jr., Genevieve, and Alyssa Williams, step-children Brandon, Benjamin and Natalie Ricci, sisters Linda(John) Williams, Beverly(Dave) Holdridge, Wendy(Michael) Davey, Tammy(David) Arrington and Bobbie Jean(Quinton) Williams all of Troy. Eddie will also be dearly missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 4th Avenue , Troy , NY 12182 with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Troy . Calling hours prior to the service on Saturday from 9:30-10:30AM at the funeral home.
