Edward Lee Williams, 89, died peacefully on October 8, 2014 in Raleigh, N.C. surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his late wife, Ellen Redmond Williams. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Barrows and son-in-law Roland Barrows, of Cary, N.C.; his son Charles Williams and daughter-in-law Nadine Williams, of Apex, N.C.; his son Edward L. Williams Jr., of Holly Springs, N.C.; granddaughters, Amy Curran Foreman of PA, Allison Curran of N.C.; grandsons, Tyler and Graham Williams of N.C. and Derek Williams of TN; great-grandson, Dawsen Stokely Sharpe; and great-granddaughter, Madison Mae Williams. Private Services will be held in Holliston, MA handled by Chesmore Funeral Home. Memorial donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project are preferred.
