Mr. Edward Charles Frederick Clark August 19, 1921 - July 18, 2008 CLARK Edward Charles (WWII Veteran, RCAF, retired Chief Engineer of GM Power Plant) -- Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, July 18, 2008 in his 87th year. Ted, beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Smith) for 65 years. Loving father of Carol (Bob Hill), Linda (Jerry Wesselink) and Bruce (Linda). Proud Grandpa of Patrick, Dylan, Kryston, Jay, Jennifer, Laura and 7 great grandchildren. Brother in law of Mary Adams. Uncle of Wayne, Grant, Barbara and Judy. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Lillie and his sister Lil (Norm Irvine). Founding member of the Golden Wings 420 Airforce Associatin. Past president of Sydenham Kawinas Club. His favourite past time was his art, cartoons, making cards, telling stories and drumming in the Kawanis Band and the 420 Wing Tuesday afternoon Golden Wings. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Friends may call at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (north of hwy 2) from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2008.
