Edna Ruth Sims Lee SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Edna Ruth Lee, 87, of 375 Serpentine Drive, entered eternal rest on May 29, 2012, at Magnolia Manor of Spartanburg after a long illness. A native of Union County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Lewis Lee, Sr. and daughter of the late Mr. Henry Rice and the late Mrs. Beatrice Sims. Mrs. Lee was a member of Monumental Baptist Church in Jersey City, NJ, and she was also a member of the Willing Workers Society. Mrs. Lee was employed with Rueson Products as an assembler. She attended school at Holden Chapel High School. Mrs. Lee leaves to cherish fond memories: two sons, Mr. Lewis Lee, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC, and Mr. James Dodd of Jersey City, NJ; ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Friday, June 1, 2012, at the Callaham-Hicks Funeral Chapel from 2 pm until 9 pm.
