Edna Miller, born in 1924, spouse of Alfred Miller, daughter of George and Leona-Collins, mother of Richard and Ida, died on November 28, 2002 at 78 years old.
Edna Hughes Miller, 78, of 8 Clemson St., died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, at her home. Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late George and Leona Collins Hughes. She retired from Super Dollar Store after 28 years of service, and was a member of Liberty Church of God. Surviving are her husband, Alfred Miller, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Ida Miller, of Liberty; sisters, Marie Harbin of Liberty, Mabel Hunter of Westminster, Mary Thomas of Anderson, and Agnes Peebles, Frances Waters and Jewell Henderson, all of Seneca; a brother, Joe Hughes, of Westminster; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 30, 2002, at Liberty Mortuary Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Willie Honea, the Rev. Paul Hayes and the Rev. Mike Hammond. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held, prior to the service, from 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. today, at the mortuary.
