LOHNES (Richards), Edna Maude LOHNES (Richards), Edna Maude - 91, Grand View Manor, Berwick, formerly of New Minas, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008, in the manor. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late George and Maude Louise (Gray) Parker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker and friend. She enjoyed reading. She is survived by daughters, Edith (Ernie) King, Wolfville; Linda (the late Sherman) Lockhart, New Minas; grandchildren, Donald King and Tawnia Sanford-Ammar; great-grandchildren, Kathleen and Kimber King, Jassem Ammar. She was predeceased by her husband, Rex Lohnes; her former husband, Borden Richards; grandson, Duane King; sister, Ethel Ferguson. There will be no visitation by family request. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Rev. Donald Rafuse officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings Co.
