She was a member of Richbay AME Church, where she was a Stewardess, Missionary and Church School Assistant Superintendent.Survivors: Daughters, Regina H. Barker (Tony), Meredith Henderson, and Stacy Henderson; grandchildren, Shaneia Nazario, Kelvin Harris, Jr. and Kirsten Reese Berry; sisters, Carol Galvin, Rosa Strawter (David Sr.) and Janice Brown (Reginald); brothers, Min. Lawrence Reed (Dianne) and Bruce Reed (Janice); aunt, Charlotte Price; uncles, Herman Mills (Ida) and Ernest Mills all of Havana; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends. Edna was preceded in death by sons, Godfrey Henderson and Craig Simmons; mother Rebecca Mills Reed. The Repast at The Clamatis House, South Main Street, Havana immediately following the burial.
