Edna G. (Sinkiewicz) Anderson, 88, of Hingham, died Dec. 5, 2012. Native of Brockton, she was a daughter of the late John and Gertrude Sinkiewicz and graduated from Brockton High School and Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing. Edna resided in Hanover most of her life and lived in Lutz, Fla., for 20 years, before moving to Linden Ponds in 2004. A registered nurse at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for many years, she was the visiting nurse for the town of Hanover in the first era of the field of visiting nurses. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making gifts for others by hand. Edna was the former wife of the late Russell Anderson; beloved mother of Leslie Nardozzi and her husband Phillip of Halifax, Judith Winiewicz and her husband Andrew of East Bridgewater, Ingrid Williamson and her husband Gordon of Abington, R. Albert Anderson and his wife Cissy of East Bridgewater, Keith E. Anderson and his wife Cherylanne of Virginia and Donna Zarella and her husband John of Marshfield; loving grandmother of 22; great-grandmother of 36; sister of Shirley Dalton and Mary Helen Davis, both of Florida, and the late Barbara Holt and John and Robert Sinkiewicz; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
