Obituary of Edna-A. Walker


WALKER Edna A. Walker, born July 31, 1927, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at her home. Edna retired from Anchor hocking Glass Company # 7 in Jacksonville. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Walker Jr. and son Jimmy Walker. And one sister, and five brothers. She was survived by one daughter, Ann (Francis) Clark of Callahan. Two sons, Roger walker of Callahan and Glen ( Tina) walker of Jacksonville . Three sisters, Dell (Sam) Kirkland of Alapha, Ga. Sula (Steve) Lindsey of Callahan. And Ann Rogers of Callahan. Nine grandchildren, Thirteen great grandchildren, and six great, great grandchildren. And many, many special nieces and nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, November 20, 2009 at Nassau Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11am at the Church of God on US HIGHWAY 1 Callahan, with A.E. Holbrooks officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery.
