ObituaryEdith S. Fain, 87, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Raymond L. Fain. Edith is survived by her sons Dr. James Fain of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Robert (Marcia) Fain of Cape Coral and two special grandchildren, Kali and Kory Fain. Edith was born in Moosup, Connecticut on May 2, 1918. Edith, Ray, and their two sons moved to East Fort Myers in January, 1956. Edith was the secretary and bookkeeper at Orange River Elementary School for nearly twenty years until she retired in 1977. She loved to travel with her husband, Ray, do needlepoint and puzzles, but she loved being with her family the most. She was very proud of her two sons and was loved by her many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at McGregor Baptist Church in the Worship Center on Sunday, August 7th, at 3:00 pm with visitation beginning at 2:30 pm.
