CHARLESTOWN MEYER, EDITH ROSE, 86, died Saturday at the Medical Center of Southern Indiana. She was a native of Hardin County, KY, and a former cook for the Valley Line Barge Co. Survivors include two sons, James D. Phillips of Charlestown and Charles W. Phillips of Mt. Washington, KY; a daughter, Carolyn Puckett of Louisville; five grandchildren; and three great-grand-children. Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grayson Funeral Home, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may go to the American Cancer Society.
