Obituary of Edith-Loretta Mitchell

Edith L. Mitchell, 70, of Vine Grove, went to heaven Monday, May 7, 2012, at Norton's Healthcare Pavilion Hospital in Louisville.She was a native of Boston, Ky., and the former Edith Loretta Coyle. She was a CNA and a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove.She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred F. Young and Edward Coyle. Her survivors include her husband, Michael D. Mitchell; one daughter, Christina M. Phelps; two brothers, William E. Coyle and Ronald C. Wallace; two grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.The funeral is at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, in the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove with the Rev. Daniel Lincoln officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions can be made to Hosparus.
