LEE, Edith Maude (Wilson) Sept. 25, 1918 - Nov. 29, 2006 In Ottawa, November 29, 2006 Edith Maude (Wilson) Lee, a gentle woman and a lady, formerly of Baie d'Urfe, Quebec and Ingersoll, Ontario and special places: Lee's Retreat Goderich, and Montserrat, and Highlandview Farm, St. Andrew's West. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Roche (Tommy and T.R.) (October 1977). Beloved mother of Stephen and Gloria of Ingersoll, Victoria Weston of Ottawa, Nancy and Roger Dixon of Edwards, and Marilyn Lee-Hannah and Duke Hannah of St. Catharines. A loving grandmother who shared her passion for swimming, canoeing and cottaging in Muskoka with her grandchildren Greg and Laura Lee, Jeremy, Meredith, Spencer and Clarke Dixon, Jacalyn, Robin and Tommy Hannah. Predeceased by her parents Ernest Albert and Maude (Walsh) Wilson and her brothers Ernie, Harold and sister Gwendolyn (Dinnie) Mitchell. Survived by her dear cousin Hilda Hamilton. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and longtime friends. Edie was a graduate of Branksome Hall and the University of Toronto. Always busy within the community-Regent of the Thomas Moore Chapter of I.O.D.E., Brown Owl of the 1st Baie d'Urfe Brownie pack, St. George's Anglican Church Altar Guild, volunteer at the V.O.N.'s Au Petit Cafe, volunteer reader at the Montreal Children's Hospital, and Baie d'Urfe Public Library. Visitation will be at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Homes, 222 Highway 20, exit 49, Pointe-Claire, Quebec (514) 483-1870 on Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at St. George's Anglican Church, Maple Avenue, St. Anne de Bellevue, Quebec. Remembrances may be made to the Primates World Relief Fund or UNICEF.
