NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - A Visitation for Mrs. Edith Hensley Hall, 80, of The Ledges, North Augusta, SC, who died March 9, 2005, will be conducted at the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home this Thursday evening from 7 to 9. Private Family Interment to follow. Mrs. Hall was a native of Gainesville, Georgia, a former resident of Athens, Georgia, having made the Augusta-North Augusta area her home for the past 45 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's on The Hill Catholic Church. A graduate of the Crawford W. Long Nursing School, she was a retired Registered Nurse, having served in the Neonatal Units of the Athens General Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, and helped establish the Neonatal Unit at Doctor's Hospital and was a former employee of Dr. Jack E. Bell. Mrs. Hall was the wife of the late Mr. Howard David Hensley, mother of the late Stephen David Hensley and grandmother of the late Anthony James "Tony" Jordan. Mrs. Hall's family expresses that "she was a wonderful, loving Mother and Ma-Ma." Survivors include her husband, Marion H. Hall; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Andy Jordan, North Augusta; six grandchildren, Drew and Kim Jordan, Amy Jordan, Ennis Hensley, Troy Hensley, Kate Hensley and Heather Hensley; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Hal Adams, Roswell, GA; four sisters, Frances DeLong, Toccoa, GA; Doris Buck, Augusta, Annell Gray, Evans and Norma Boyd, Boca Raton, FL.
