Edith Carriebell Haselden Graham August 23, 1915 - December 10, 2014 Conway Edith Carriebell Haselden Graham, age 99, wife of the late J. Dawson Graham, Sr., passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Graham was born in Goldsboro, NC. She was the daughter of the late Henry Ebenezer and Claudia Theodora Stalvey Haselden. Mrs. Graham was a member of The Refuge @ FPHC for 63 years. She also worked with the Horry County School District. Mrs. Graham was talented as a late-blooming artist. She also enjoyed her children, gardening, and arts and crafts. Previously Mrs. Graham has been featured on Cecil's World, celebrating the work she did as an artist, also being celebrated in Parent's Magazine as 'parent of the month.' In addition to her husband, Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by: a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Graham; two brothers, L.G. Haselden and Edward Haselden; a sister, Pauline Tucker; two half brothers, Clifton Haselden and Eugene Haselden. Mrs. Graham is survived by eight children: Richard and Katie Graham of Conway, Sara Jo and Wilbur "Big" Lewis of Conway, Annie Margaret and Reedy Saverance of Pamplico, James Oscar and Lois Graham of Conway, Lila Ruth and Douglas Johnson of Johnsonville, Norma Jean Gause of Conway, Joseph Dawson Graham, Jr. and Cindy Graham of Conway, Miriam J. and Julius Hadden of Aiken, twenty grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren, and twenty five great-great grandchildren. The service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2014, at The Refuge @ FPHC with Rev. Jason Cook, Rev. Dudley Parnell, Rev. Jon Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
