GREENSBORO Eddie Mae Carter, age 71, of Greensboro, died Dec. 23, 2011, in Decatur, Ga. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Greensboro with Archbishop Ruth W. SmithHolmes and Bishop Tracy L. Pitts officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Family Cemetery in Greensboro with Washington & Paige Mortuary of Greensboro directing. Visitation will be today from 12 noon to 5 p.m. with family hour from 5 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
