TRENTON - Eddie Lee Jenkins, 56, affectionately known as "Little Man," of Trenton, departed this life on Saturday, Mar. 19, 2011 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton.Born in Bower's Hill, Va., Eddie relocated to Trenton in 1969. He was educated in the Portsmouth, Va. public school system. Eddie was predeceased by his father, Richard Simmons, mother, Laura Jenkins, sister, Unis Johnson, and three brothers-in-law, Frank Hickmond, Samuel Williams and Persy Massenburg. He was survived by one daughter, Druscilla Hickmond; one son, Raheem Hickmond; five siblings, Nellie Williams and Hattie B. Jenkins, both of Trenton, June (Nicodemus) Johnson of Norfolk, Va., Etta Mae Massenburg of Portsmouth, Va., and Nelson (Gail) Jenkins of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton. Calling hours will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
