MAGUIRE, Earl Francis - With heavy hearts, we the family of Earl Maguire announce his passing at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Friday, August 17th, 2007, one day prior to his 80th birthday. Beloved husband of Kay (nee Johnson). Loving father and grandfather of Tom and his wife Darlene of Scotland, their children Lisa Ball (Steve) and Michael (Janice); Linda Gamble and her husband Dan of Scotland, their children Debbie Clement (Matt) and D.J. (Maureen “Moe”); Gary and his wife Teresa of Scotland, their children Jason, Jennifer Fennel (Rick), Kristy Barnes (Brad) and Nigel; Kathy Maguire of Brantford, her children R.J. (Kate) and Sarah Hall (Steve); and Bill and his wife Kim of Delhi. Proud great grandfather of Jaymie, Tristan, Cameran, Taylor, Karlie and Coleton. Earl is survived by his sisters Helen McEwan of Mt. Pleasant, Bertha Walker (Keith) of Scotland and a brother Lloyd (Pauline) of Scotland as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Earl is also survived by his sister-in-law Mary Maguire of Paris. Predeceased by his parents, William and Vina Maguire, his brother Bill, an infant sister Margaret, and a brother-in-law Lyle McEwan. Friends are invited to share their memories of Earl with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Sunday afternoon, August 19th, 2007 from 1-4 p.m. Earl's funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor T.J.
