Most recently, shelived in Auburn, AL and finallyin Roswell in the home of herdaughter, Kim. Hobbie was along-time member of the Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Capt. RalphF. Smith, USN. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Stephen Farrisof Roswell; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Connie Smithof Auburn, AL; brother Kenneth Hobbie of Waynesville,NC; and three grandchildren,Michael Farris, Carolyn Smithand Amanda Smith. A graveside service will be held onSaturday, April 17 at 11:00 AMat Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens in Montgomery, AL, with Father Al Perkinsofficiating.
