Essie-Mae White, spouse of Clifford White, mother of Louise, Brooklyn, N. Y and Bishop Stallings, died on May 14, 2004.
AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Essie Mae White of Perry Avenue, entered into rest Friday, May 14, 2004, at the Windermere Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at 2 p.m., at Tremont Temple Baptist Church with Rev. William F. Bass officiating. Burial will be at Walker Memorial Park. Mrs. White, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Tremount Temple where she served on the Senior Choir, Pastor's Aid and Missionary Society. After many years of service, she retired from Richmond County Board of Education. Survivors are her husband, Clifford White, Sr., Augusta; one daughter, Louise Richardson, Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sons, Bishop (Linda) Stallings Jr., Roosevelt, N.Y., Randy (Mary) White, Augusta; stepson, Clifford (Freda) White Jr., New Carrollton, Md.; a devoted niece, Sandra Mays, Augusta; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister-in-law, a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
