Emily C. Johnson (nee Reiss) of Yonkers, formerly of Manhatten, died on Friday February 20, 2004 at the age of 86. Born in Florida, NY, March 13, 1917, Emily was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Ake Johnson; loving mother of Lorraine (Payro), John, William and Evelyn (Manning); cherished grandmother of Joanne Crain, Jennifer Pasquarella, Joseph Adam Payro, the late Raymond Eric Payro, Brian Manning, Lisa, Matthew, Wendy and Mark Johnson; treasured great-grandmother of Rachel, Olivia, and Mira Crain, Christopher and Jonathan Pasquarella, Alexandra and Sam Johnson; caring mother-in-law of Joseph Payro, John Manning and Cindi Johnson; dear sister of the late Edward Rice; fond cousin of the many members of the Reiss family of Port Jervis and Middletown, NY. Family will receive friends, Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Flower Funeral Home, 714 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday, 10 am, St. Bartholomew's Church, Yonkers, followed by Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
