Obituary of Elizabeth Williams


Elizabeth Ritter Williams - Merritt Island - Elizabeth Ritter Williams, a resident of Courtenay Springs Village, Merritt Island, FL, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 7, 1921, the daughter of Elizabeth H. and Frederick U. Ritter. She formerly lived in Spring House, PA. Surviving is her husband of 62 years, Robert F. Williams, of Courtenay Springs Village; and children, Kristen W. Rorer of Waterville, ME, Mark F. Williams, his wife Barbara L. Williams, and their son, Eric A. Williams, all of Cortez, FL. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, on Merritt Island, FL. A memorial service will be held at Courtenay Springs Village in the near future with the Rev. David Rosenbaum officiating. Also, a gathering of family and friends in PA for a memorial service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Little Zion Lutheran Church and Cemetery in Telford, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to either, Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary (for the Student Assistance Fund), 11831 N. Seminary Drive, Mequon, WI 53092; or Redeemer Lutheran Church, 560 S. Tropical Trail, Merritt Island, FL 32952.
