PHILLIPS, ELIZABETH "BETH" SUE BAKIE 48, of Zephyr Hills, Florida, departed this life for her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Beth was born November 9, 1962 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky but grew up in Homewood, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Roy Bakie; her husband, Joe Phillips; and their first born child, Jolene. Beth is survived by her two daughters, Jo-Ellen and Evelyn Jolene; her mother, Barbara M. Johnson and her daddy of 43 years Robert L. Johnson; her two sisters, Debra Cole (Tom) and Lori Farris (Ron); and a brother, Robert M. Johnson (Julie). She is also survived by her loving, caring, long term companion Marshall Conrad of Florida. A memorial will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Ridout's Valley Chapel on Oxmoor Road in Homewood, 205-879-3401, and officiated by Pastor Tommy Hanna.
