Elizabeth Rogers Miller, 86, died Feb. 21, 2009, in Fort Pierce. She was born in Fort Pierce and was a lifelong resident. She retired from the School Board of St. Lucie County. She was a member of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan's Purse, Salvation Army, First Presbyterian Church and nondenominational fellowships. Survivors include her daughter, Joan Lewis of Fort Pierce; sons, Roger Miller of Fort Pierce, Leslie Miller of Cumming, Ga., and Richard Miller of Homer, Alaska; sister, Joyce Gillette of Fort Pierce; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. SERVICES: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. March 21 at Orange Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hart officiating. Arrangements are by Yates Funeral Home.
