MANNING, ELIZABETH (BETSEY)Elizabeth (Betsey) Manning (nee Cushman) of Beaverton, OR on January 5, 2005 at the age of 68. Born March 25, 1936 in White Plains, NY Betsey married her husband, Thomas Manning in 1960. She has live in Oregon for the past 3 years moving from Congers, NY where she and her husband lived for 38 years. Betsey worked for the New York State Thruway Authority West Nyack Division for 22 years, retiring in 2001 as a keyboard specialist. She was a member of St. Cecilia Church in Beaverton and St. Paul Catholic Church in Congers. She was also a member of the Teamsters Union. Survivors include her husband Thomas Manning, of Beaverton, OR, daughter Trish Martin of Portland, OR, son Tom Manning of Stony Point, NY, sister Mary Fennell of Naples, FL, brother Charles Cushman of Seneca, SC, sister-in-law Margaret Mary Kelleher of North Hampton, NH. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Betsey was preceded in death by her brother William and her infant son William Joseph Manning. A Rosary will be held at 10:30 am Monday, January 10 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Beaverton, OR. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Portland, OR. Memorial donations may be made to Project P.A.C.E. for children with autism of Beaverton, OR.
