Elizabeth F. McKeon Kelly, 92, died January 27, 2002 at her residence in Yarmouth, ME. She was born January 8, 1910 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Thomas and Katherine Irving McKeon. She was a lifelong resident of New York City until 2-1/2 years ago, when she relocated to Bay Square at Yarmouth. She had made many friends at her new residence and appreciated everyone there. A very religious, hardworking person who was very proud of her Irish heritage, she was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Yarmouth and had been a member of St. Catharine's Parish in New York. She loved crocheting, sewing and had made her daughter's wedding dress. She married Joseph Kelly on June 10, 1941 and he predeceased her in 1991. Surviving are her daughters, Bernadette Moran of Blauvelt, NY and Catherine Martin of Cumberland Foreside, ME; eight grandchildren: Joseph Martin, Jr., Jennifer Martin, Kevin Moran, Patrick Martin, Meghan Moran, Eamonn Moran, Kathleen Martin and Mariah Martin. A sister, Catherine McKeon and a brother, Thomas McKeon, also predeceased her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at the Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth, ME. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, 1 p.m. at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, NY. Friends may call Friday, 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan.
