Elizabeth "Betty" Age 84 of Elmira, died Friday, May 14, 2004 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph; three daughters, Patricia Clark, Wellsboro, Carolyn Clark, Lutz, FL, and Mary Clark, Gainesville, FL; grandson, Joseph, Gainesville, FL; sister, Catherine Buchanan, Wellsburg, NY; nieces and nephews, Leonard Gray, Marilyn Stansfield, Gerry LaFave, Michael Matteson, Billy Matteson, Mary Shangraw, Thomas Hentz, Joe Billy Hentz. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Lennon; sister, Margaret Gray; and brothers, Francis and Joseph Lennon. Betty was a communicant of Sts. Peter & Paul Church. Those wishing may make memorial donations in Betty's memory to the Sts. Peter & Paul's Parish Center Fund (envelopes available at the funeral home). Family will receive relatives and friends at the Kalec Funeral Home, Sunday, May 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. followed by the rosary at 6 p.m. Also prayer service there Monday, May 17 at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Sts. Peter & Paul's Church. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. The Family wishes to thank the staff at the Chemung County Nursing Facility for the Excellent Care Given to "Betty".
