Elizabeth C. Clark of Tomkins Cove died November 21, 2007, after a brief illness. She was 96 years old. Born on April 18, 1911 in Haverstraw to Clarence and Anna Chapman Gardiner, she was a lifelong resident of North Rockland. Elizabeth was a parishoner of Immaculate Conception Church for 50 years. She worked for and retired from Helen Hayes Hospital after 30 years of service. Survivors include three sons, Thomas M. and his wife Margaret of Tomkins Cove; Matthew G. and his wife Jeanne of Troy, Michigan, and John V. and his wife Betty Jean of Stony Point. Seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive her. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Matthew G. in 1988. Friends may call on Sunday, November 25 from 4-8 PM at the Edward C. Finn Funeral Home in Stony Point. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, John Street, Stony Point with burial to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY. EDWARD C.
