Eleanor T. Johnson, 90, long-time resident of West Harrison, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in Country Meadows, Bethlehem, PA. She was the wife of the late Charles W. "Bill" Johnson, Sr. Born in North Long Branch, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine (Giglio) Troia. She was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, West Harrison, NY. Eleanor was a devoted wife and mother. She was a former Girl Scout leader in West Harrison. Survivors: daughter, Cynthia J. Oster and her husband Robert of Bethlehem, PA; son, Charles W. "Chuck" Johnson, Jr. and his wife Susan of Hilton Head, SC; sister, Genevieve Troia of West Harrison, NY; grandchildren, Andrew Oster and his fiance Lisa Potter, Robin Oster, Charles W. Johnson, III, and his wife Karen and their daughter MacKenzie, Kristin Lane and her husband Donny and their daughters, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth, and Ashley, and Carrie Gref and her husband Brian. Eleanor was preceded in death by sisters, Angela Jackson, Sylvia Troia and Rose Panter. Services: Mass of Christian Burial 10:15 AM Saturday in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 85 Harrison Street, West Harrison, NY. Call from 9:45 AM until time of service in the Church.
